Markets and originates residential loans for sale in the Home Loan Department and residential and part-time farm loans that qualify as residential loans. Develops business development strategies that target potential current customers, as well as referrals from builders, realtors, and other sources for Home Loan Department. Will service Moore, Lee, Montgomery and Richmond Counties. Proven performance record required in originating and processing mortgage loans. Commission-based with unlimited earnings. Medical/dental insurance and access to 401(k).
Making Loans: Completes the loan process from beginning to end to ensure a quality and beneficial loan to all involved. Gathers all information necessary for documentation, analysis, disclosure and underwriting loan requests. Analyzes complete credit and financial data on applicants to determine appropriate credit action to take under the loan program as established by investor and CFC guidelines. Utilizes loan origination and desktop underwriting software as appropriate in preparing the loan package for processing, underwriting, and closing when a loan application is taken. Appropriately prices loans and lock-ininterest rates according to CFC and Investor guidelines; achieves CFC income objectives. Collects credit report and appraisal fee when taking the loan application and underwriting and other applicable fees at the time of closing.
Reporting: Provides appropriate reports regarding loan activity and marketing functions as required by supervisor and/or CFC.
