Has the overall responsibility with other Marketing Department personnel in working with the branch teams and market segments to ensure these groups have the tools and skills to effectively market Carolina Farm Credit's products and services and reach business plan goals and objectives.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS of the job include, but are not limited to:
Association social media, and blog space on website: Utilize HootSuite to manage our social media presence. Using our social media calendar; schedule posts on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn, ensuring posts are integrated with our marketing projects to build a cohesive brand strategy and meet the goals of our social media plan. Monitor and participate in online conversation to build brand interaction and visibility (ex: ‘Liking’ appropriate customer comments on Facebook, retweeting meaningful posts on Twitter, etc.). Monitor media channels on a daily basis for content opportunities or conflicts. Provide tracking information and metrics to communicate community activity, demographics, trends, etc. internally. Research content or create as needed for social media.
Video Content Creation and Editing – Strategically plan video content creation including customer testimonials, social media videos and short clip videos. Responsible for video filming, editing and publishing. Take these projects from concept to execution as requested.
Website design and updates - Coordinate all website updates and revisions as needed by marketing and others as needed to keep the website current and fresh. Update and support Home Loan website, ensuring content is fresh and employee information is correct. Keep abreast of changes within the industry. Research content or create as needed for website.
Marketing mailings and Ad support - Produce quarterly mailings for paid out customers, monthly statement stuffers and quarterly Farm Credit Express mailing. Provide ad and marketing support as needed for branches and Regional Managers.
Customer Service, Marketing Campaigns, special projects – Understand and appreciate association business plan and goals, work with branches to help accomplish their goals. Share marketing and ad requests with marketing specialist/coordinator and provide backup for marketing specialist/coordinator when out of the office. Responsible for assigned marketing campaigns and events. Take these projects from concept to execution as requested. Attend various meetings as requested by management.
Education or experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, or related field.
Strong interpersonal skills, strong verbal and written communication skills and salesmanship.
Displays original thinking and creativity.
Demonstrated creative writing, proofreading and editing skills.
Ability to travel for farm visits, training, overnight travel etc.
Ability to interact effectively with a diverse group of individuals.
Ability to work independently with minimal instruction.
Self-motivated, career-oriented, with ability and desire to learn and willingness to apply new procedures and concepts.
Excellent computer skills; Knowledge MS Office Programs, desk top publishing, and web design.
Farm Credit experience.
Agricultural knowledge and experience.
Skills gained through lending and business development
